Today, AWS Direct Connect now enables AWS Direct Connect Service Delivery Partners (AWS Direct Connect Partners) to support 25 Gbps hosted connection capacity .
AWS Direct Connect makes it easy to establish a private network connection from your premises to AWS. AWS Direct Connect Partners help establish the AWS Direct Connect service between an AWS Direct Connect location and your data center, office, or colocation environment. Until today, hosted connections supported capacities from 50 Mbps through 10 Gbps. With the launch today, 25 Gbps hosted connection capacity will unlock new workloads for customers that need more than 10 Gbps hosted connection capacities, which were previously only available using dedicated connections. 25 Gbps accelerates deployments of new customer workloads, such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) workloads, Media and Entertainment workloads, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ Machine Learning (ML) workloads.
25 Gbps capacity hosted connections are available through select AWS Direct Connect Partners. A list of approved AWS Direct Connect Partners can be found on the AWS Direct Connect [partner page](https://aws.amazon.com/directconnect/partners/). Consult the [documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/directconnect/latest/UserGuide/hosted%5Fconnection.html) to learn more about configuring hosted connections.
