Azure Data Box Disk now available in Japan and Korea

Earlier this year, we announced [general availability](https://aka.ms/databoxdiskgablog) of the[ ](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/updates/generally-available-azure-data-box-disk/)Azure Data Box Disk in the US, EU, Canada and Australia. The service is now available for our customers in Japan and Korea. Visit the [region availability](https://aka.ms/dbdiskavailability) page for more information.
Data Box Disk is an SSD disk-based option for offline data transfer to Azure. This option is ideal for a recurring or one-off data migration of up to 40 TB to Azure and is especially well suited for data migration from multiple remote or branch offices. As part of the service offering, we’ll send you encrypted SSD disks with a USB 3.1/SATA II/III interface for secure data transfer and provide forward/return delivery to our data centre.
Data Box Disk supports ingestion across various storage types such as GPv1, GPv2, Blob storage and destinations such as Block Blobs, Page Blobs, Azure Files and [Azure ](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/blog/azure-data-box-family-now-enables-import-to-managed-disks/)[Managed Disk](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/blog/azure-data-box-family-now-enables-import-to-managed-disks/)[s](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/blog/azure-data-box-family-now-enables-import-to-managed-disks/).
