[AWS X-Ray](/xray/), a distributed tracing system that helps developers analyze and debug multi-tiered applications, is now available in AWS’ new Bahrain region.
With AWS X-Ray you can trace and aggregate the data generated by the individual services and resources that make up your application, providing you an end-to-end view of how your application is performing and enabling you to easily identify and troubleshoot performance issues and errors. X-Ray can be used to analyze simple three-tier applications, as well as more complex micro-services applications consisting of thousands of services.
With the Bahrain region launch, X-Ray is now available in seven Asia Pacific regions: Bahrain, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo. Globally, X-Ray is offered in eighteen regions, with the other regions being Canada-Central, EU-Frankfurt, EU-Ireland, EU-London, EU-Paris, EU-Stockholm, US East-Northern Virginia, US East-Ohio, US West-Northern California, US West-Oregon, and South America-São Paulo.
You can start using AWS X-Ray by using the [AWS Management Console](https://me-south-1.awsc-integ.aws.amazon.com/xray/home?region=me-south-1#/service-map). Visit our [documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/xray/latest/devguide/aws-xray.html) to learn more about X-Ray.
