Queuing Purchases of EC2 RIs

Services
Starting today, customers can queue purchases of EC2 RIs in advance by specifying a time of their choosing in the future to execute those purchases.
In Sep 2016, AWS launched Regional RIs on EC2 which made RIs easier to use by providing the discount benefit to EC2 instances regardless of the underlying AZ or size used. Now with the ability to queue purchases, customers can enjoy uninterrupted RI coverage, making Regional RIs even easier to use. By scheduling purchases in the future, customers can conveniently renew their expiring RIs and also plan for future events. This helps customers to reduce their overall bill without incurring additional management overhead.
