AWS Auto Scaling is now available in [AWS GovCloud (US) Regions](/govcloud-us/). AWS GovCloud (US) customers can now use AWS Auto Scaling to manage dynamic scaling configuration for multiple resources such as Amazon EC2 instances, Amazon ECS tasks, Amazon DynamoDB tables and indexes, and Amazon Aurora read replicas with a single scaling plan.
Scaling plans automate how groups of different resources respond to changes in demand. You can optimize availability, costs, or a balance of both. AWS Auto Scaling automatically creates all of the scaling policies and sets targets for you based on your preference. AWS Auto Scaling monitors your application and automatically adds or removes capacity from your resource groups in real-time as demands change.
AWS Auto Scaling can be accessed using the AWS Auto Scaling console and API via SDK/CLI. To learn more about AWS Auto Scaling, please visit [link](/autoscaling/).
