[Voicemail for Amazon Connect](/solutions/voicemail-for-amazon-connect/) offers users an add-on voicemail solution that they can associate with their [Amazon Connect](/connect/) instance. Customers start by deploying an [AWS CloudFormation](/cloudformation/) template to set up the architecture with necessary AWS services to provide Amazon Connect agents with voicemail features such as voicemail recordings and transcripts. The solution offers a visual interface for managers and administrators to configure the voicemail settings for the entire Amazon Connect instance and for each agent.
The solution deploys [Amazon Kinesis Video Streams](/kinesis/video-streams/), [Amazon Kinesis Data Streams](/kinesis/data-streams/), [AWS Lambda](/lambda/), [Amazon DynamoDB](/dynamodb/), [Amazon S3](/s3/), [Amazon API Gateway](/api-gateway/), [Amazon Transcribe](/transcribe/), and [Amazon CloudFront](/cloudfront/), and uses [Amazon Cognito](/cognito/) for authentication.
