Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES) is now available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region. Amazon SES is a reliable, cost-effective, cloud-based email service designed to help digital marketers and application developers send marketing, notification, and transactional emails.
The AWS GovCloud (US) Regions are designed to host sensitive data and regulated workloads in the cloud and to enable you to adhere to ITAR regulations, FedRAMP requirements, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD (SRG) Impact Levels 2 and 4 and 5, and several other security and compliance requirements. With this latest release you can now use Amazon SES to securely send emails from the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region. You can learn more about the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions [here](/govcloud-us/).
In addition to AWS GovCloud (US-West), Amazon SES is available in Canada (Central), EU (London), South America (Sao Paulo), US East (Virginia), US West (Oregon), Europe (Ireland), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Sydney), and EU (Frankfurt) Regions.
