AWS Backup is now available in AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. AWS GovCloud (US) is designed to host sensitive data and regulated workloads in the cloud for customers with stringent U.S. federal, state, and local government compliance requirements.
[ AWS Backup ](/backup/) offers a centralized, fully-managed, and policy-based service to back up data in a compliant manner across AWS services. With AWS Backup, you can centrally configure backup policies and monitor backup activity for AWS resources, including Amazon EBS volumes, Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) databases (including Aurora clusters), Amazon DynamoDB tables, Amazon Elastic File System (EFS), Amazon EC2 instances, and AWS Storage Gateway volumes.
