[Amazon SQS](/sqs/) now supports a new console which simplifies development and production workflows by creating a new user experience.
The SQS console now accelerates the creation and modification of SQS resources. Customers can easily select the type of queue, its access policy, encryption and other configurations while creating a queue. Similarly, customers can easily view and modify their queue's SNS subscriptions, Lambda triggers, dead-letter queue, access policy, CloudWatch metrics, encryption, and tag details.
The new console is now available in all commercial regions except AWS China (Beijing and Ningxia) Regions. The new console in AWS China Regions is coming soon. There are no additional Amazon SQS costs to use the new console. To get started, visit the Amazon SQS[ new console](https://console.aws.amazon.com/sqs/v2). You can learn more about this console in the documentation [here](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSSimpleQueueService/latest/SQSDeveloperGuide/sqs-configuring.html).
