[Amazon Kendra](/kendra/) is a highly accurate and easy to use enterprise search service powered by machine learning. Starting today, AWS customers can easily manage Amazon Kendra resources using AWS CloudFormation.
Support for AWS CloudFormation makes it simple for customers to create and manage Kendra resources without having to configure Amazon Kendra separately through the console. For example, customers can create a Kendra index and a data source with a synchronization schedule using a CloudFormation template.
CloudFormation support for Amazon Kendra is available in all [AWS regions](/about-aws/global-infrastructure/regional-product-services/) where Amazon Kendra is available. To get started with CloudFormation for Amazon Kendra, see the [CloudFormation user guide](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/AWS%5FKendra.html). To learn more about Kendra, visit the [Amazon Kendra website](/kendra/).
