Amazon EBS CSI driver now supports AWS Outposts

The Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) CSI driver now supports creating volumes on worker nodes running in AWS Outposts subnets. AWS Outposts is a fully managed service that offers the same AWS infrastructure, AWS services, APIs, and tools to virtually any datacenter, co-location space, or on-premises facility for a truly consistent hybrid experience The EBS CSI driver makes it easy to provision, attach, and mount EBS volumes into Kubernetes pods. With the latest release of the [EBS CSI driver](, you can dynamically provision EBS volumes for pods running in AWS Outposts subnets. This release also includes support for [IO2 volume types](, and [AWS Graviton](/ec2/graviton/) based instance types. See the [release notes]( for full details, and the Amazon EKS [documentation]( to get started.
