Amazon Sidewalk is a shared network that helps devices work better through better connectivity options. Today, we are excited to announce the general availability of [Amazon Sidewalk Integration for AWS IoT Core](https://console.aws.amazon.com/iot/home?region=us-east-1%22%20%5Cl%20%22/wireless/profiles/sidewalk/create) to help device manufacturers easily onboard their Sidewalk device fleet with AWS IoT Core. Amazon Sidewalk has been designed to support a wide range of customer devices like locating pets or valuables, to smart home security and lighting control, to remote diagnostics for appliances and tools. As a device manufacturer who is ready to build a prototype Sidewalk-enabled device, you can review our Quick Start Guide and download an SDK on the [Sidewalk Developer Service (SDS) Console](http://developer.amazon.com/acs-devices/console/Sidewalk). After your prototype device is registered with Amazon Sidewalk on the developer SDS console, you can simply go the [AWS Management Console](https://console.aws.amazon.com/iot/home?region=us-east-1%22%20%5Cl%20%22/wireless/profiles/sidewalk/create) and setup device authentication with AWS IoT Core. Once authenticated, the device messages will automatically route to AWS IoT Core so you can start developing your business application(s) using AWS services. With Amazon Sidewalk Integration for AWS IoT Core, you only pay for your AWS IoT usage. There are no upfront commitments or minimum fees. To learn more, see the Amazon Sidewalk Integration for AWS IoT Core [developer guide](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot/latest/developerguide/what-is-aws-iot.html).
