Today, we are announcing the launch of [Amazon Monitron iOS app](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/amazon-monitron/id1563396065). The iOS app joins the existing Android app, giving customers more options for using Amazon Monitron. iPhone users can now use the Amazon Monitron iOS app to set up their sensors and gateway devices, and receive reports on operating behavior and alerts to potential failures in their equipment.
[Amazon Monitron](/monitron/) is an end-to-end system that uses machine learning (ML) to detect abnormal conditions in industrial equipment, enabling customers to implement predictive maintenance and reduce unplanned downtime. It includes sensors to capture vibration and temperature data from equipment, a gateway device to securely transfer data to AWS, the Amazon Monitron service that analyzes the data for abnormal equipment conditions using machine learning, and a companion mobile app for setup, analytics and alert notifications.
Amazon Monitron helps monitor and detect potential failures in a broad range of rotating equipment such as motors, gearboxes, pumps, fans, bearings, and compressors. Amazon Monitron Sensors and Gateways are available to purchase separately or bundled in starter packs on [Amazon.com](http://amazon.com/) or with your Amazon Business account, in [US](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0851JTCC1), [UK](http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0851JTCC1), [Germany](http://www.amazon.de/dp/B0851JTCC1), [Spain](http://www.amazon.es/dp/B0851JTCC1), [France](http://www.amazon.fr/dp/B0851JTCC1), [Italy](http://www.amazon.it/dp/B0851JTCC1), and [Canada](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0851JTCC1).
