Zerto is a leader in disaster recovery solutions and helps to eliminate data loss through a foundation of [Continuous Data Protection (CDP](https://www.zerto.com/solutions/use-cases/disaster-recovery/)), giving enterprises the level of protection needed for business critical and mission critical applications. Zerto also automates and orchestrates failover and failback, ensuring minimal downtime in a disaster. Now with Zerto Disaster Recovery for Azure VMware Solution in general availability, management of disaster recovery services through automation is simplified and ensures fast and highly predictable recovery times.
Zerto Disaster Recovery for Azure VMware Solution supports the following 3 scenarios:
* **On-premises VMware to Azure VMware Solution for Hybrid disaster recovery:** In this scenario the primary site is an on-premises vSphere-based environment. And the disaster recovery site is an Azure VMware Solution Private Cloud.
* **Azure VMware Solution to Azure VMware Solution for cloud-based disaster recovery:** In this scenario the primary site is an Azure VMware Solution Private Cloud in one Azure region. And the disaster recovery site is an Azure VMware Solution Private Cloud in a different Azure region
* **Azure VMware Solution to Azure IaaS for cloud-based disaster recovery:** In this scenario the primary site is an Azure VMware Solution Private Cloud in one Azure region. And Azure Blobs and Azure IaaS (Hyper-V based) VMs are used in times of disaster.
Zerto Disaster Recovery is sold and supported by Zerto. If you have pre-existing Zerto product licenses are able to reuse them for Azure VMware Solution environments. Please contact your Zerto sales team for more on reusing and acquiring new licenses.
