Amazon Kendra adds spell checker for queries

[Amazon Kendra](/kendra/) is an intelligent search service powered by machine learning, and helps organizations provide more relevant information to customers and employees, when they need it. Starting today, AWS customers can use Amazon Kendra’s Spell Checker to suggest spell corrections for misspelled words in a query.
Spell Checker can reduce occurrences of zero returned search results from misspelled queries by guiding users towards queries that return relevant results. For example, for the misspelled query, “how to get access to Salesfroce”, Amazon Kendra could suggest “how to get access to Salesforce?”.
Spell Checker is available in [AWS regions](/about-aws/global-infrastructure/regional-product-services/) where Amazon Kendra is available. To learn more about the feature, visit the [documentation page](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/kendra/latest/dg/query-spell-check.html). To learn more about Amazon Kendra, visit the [Amazon Kendra website](/kendra/).
