Today, we are announcing the availability of [AWS Backup Audit Manager](/backup/faqs/) in the AWS Africa (Cape Town) and Europe (Milan) Regions. AWS Backup Audit Manager is a feature within the AWS Backup service that allows you to audit and report on the compliance of your data protection policies to help you meet your business and regulatory needs. AWS Backup enables you to centralize and automate data protection policies across AWS services based on organizational best practices and regulatory standards, and AWS Backup Audit Manager helps you maintain and demonstrate compliance with those policies. With AWS Backup Audit Manager, you can generate auditor-ready reports to help prove compliance of your data protection policies with your defined industry-specific regulatory requirements.
AWS Backup Audit Manager is available today in the US East (Ohio, N. Virginia), US West (N. California, Oregon), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Milan, Paris, Stockholm), South America (Sao Paulo), Africa (Cape Town), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong, Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo), and Middle East (Bahrain) Regions.
