[Amazon Kendra](/kendra/) is an intelligent search service powered by machine learning, enabling organizations to provide relevant information to customers and employees, when they need it. Starting today, AWS customers can use the Amazon Kendra Dropbox connector to index and search documents from Dropbox data source.
Critical information can be scattered across multiple data sources in an enterprise, including collaborative content sharing platfoms. For many organizations, Dropbox is a core part of their content storage and lifecycle management strategy. A Dropbox account often contains artifacts such as documents, presentations, knowledge articles etc. Enterprise users use Dropbox to upload, transfer, and store documents to the cloud. Now, with the new Amazon Kendra data source connector for Dropbox, these documents (HTML, PDF, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Plain Text) can be indexed by Amazon Kendra’s intelligent search service to allow users to search through this content for answers.
The Amazon Kendra Dropbox connector is available in all [AWS regions](/about-aws/global-infrastructure/regional-product-services/) where Amazon Kendra is available. To learn more about this connector, visit the [documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/kendra/latest/dg/data-source-dropbox.html) page or the [Amazon Kendra connector library](/kendra/connectors/). To explore Amazon Kendra, visit the [Amazon Kendra website](/kendra/).
