[Amazon Polly](/polly/) is a service that turns text into lifelike speech, allowing you to create applications that talk, and build entirely new categories of speech-enabled products. Today, we are excited to announce the general availability of Laura, a new female Dutch neural Text-to-speech (NTTS) voice.
Amazon Polly now offers three voices supporting Dutch: Ruben, Lotte and the newly released Laura. Ruben and Lotte are standard voices whereas Laura is the first neural voice. In the Netherlands, English is spoken by the vast majority of the population. Amazon Polly’s, Laura, speaks both Dutch and English with equal ease and nativity.
Laura and all the other NTTS voices are available in [AWS regions supporting Neural TTS](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/polly/latest/dg/NTTS-main.html#ntts-regions). For more details, please read the [Amazon Polly documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/polly/latest/dg/what-is.html) and visit our [pricing page](/polly/pricing/).
