We are excited to announce that AWS IoT Device Management [Fleet Indexing](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot/latest/developerguide/iot-indexing.html) now supports up to twelve query terms. [AWS IoT Device Management](/iot-device-management/) is a fully managed service that helps you search, organize, monitor, and remotely manage IoT devices at scale.
Fleet indexing’s search and aggregation queries, including [fleet metrics](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot/latest/developerguide/iot-fleet-metrics.html) will now now support up to twelve query terms, up from the prior limit of seven terms. These queries enable multiple use cases, such as helping customers capture fleet level insights, define and monitor alarms on specific attributes, and filter on a subset of devices for easier troubleshooting activities. With this update, customers can enrich their fleet management capability and perform even more granular filtering through additional query terms.
This update is available in all regions where AWS IoT Device Management is available. Customers can run [search](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot/latest/developerguide/example-queries.html) and [aggregation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot/latest/developerguide/index-aggregate.html) queries directly via APIs, and also from Console or [Fleet Hub](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot/latest/fleethubuserguide/what-is-aws-iot-monitor-how-it-works.html). For more information, refer to AWS IoT Device Management [documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot-device-management/).
