Today, we are excited to announce the launch of a new Security Hub widget on AWS Console Home, providing a summary of your security posture generated by the security checks that you have enabled in your account using [AWS Security Hub](/security-hub/). With the Security Hub widget you can access a summary of your security posture, as captured by AWS Security Hub, and view key insights such as your security score, how many security controls have failed, and how many critical findings you have in your accounts. Most security checks informing the widget are described in the [AWS Foundational Security Best Practices](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/securityhub/latest/userguide/securityhub-standards-fsbp.html) standard, a curated set of security best practice checks vetted by AWS security experts that either run whenever there are changes to the associated resources or on a set periodic schedule. The remaining checks are informed by industry frameworks, such as [PCI DSS](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/securityhub/latest/userguide/securityhub-standards-pcidss.html) and [CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/securityhub/latest/userguide/securityhub-standards-cis.html). You can access the full capability of Security Hub from the widget with a single click to view more detail on findings and review or make changes to your enabled security controls. You can access the Security Hub widget by signing into the [AWS Management Console](/console/). This widget is available in all public AWS Regions.
