Services
[Amazon Polly](/polly/) is a service that turns text into lifelike speech, allowing you to create applications that talk, and build entirely new categories of speech-enabled products. Today, we are excited to announce the general availability of Kazuha and Tomoko, two new female Japanese neural Text-to-speech (NTTS) voices.
Amazon Polly now offers two more voices supporting Japanese. They are our first neural female voices with different personalities that expand our portfolio for this locale to three female voices and one male voice. We launch two voices at the same time to give our customers a wider range of female voice options to choose from.
Kazuha and Tomoko and all the other NTTS voices are available in [AWS regions supporting Neural TTS](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/polly/latest/dg/NTTS-main.html#ntts-regions). For more details, please read the [Amazon Polly documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/polly/latest/dg/what-is.html) and visit our [pricing page](/polly/pricing/).
