Today, [AWS Backup](https://aws.amazon.com/backup/) is announcing support for managing your backup notifications from the [AWS User Notifications console](http://console.aws.amazon.com/notifications/home?notifications#/notifications). AWS Backup is a fully managed service that centralizes and automates data protection across AWS services and hybrid workloads. This launch enables you to easily configure, monitor, and manage your notifications related to AWS Backup from a central location.
With this launch, you can view the progress of your backup, copy, and restore jobs and changes to your backup policies, vaults, recovery points, and settings from the User Notifications Notification Center, simplifying managing notifications and allowing you to respond to your backup events faster. You can now consolidate your existing and new AWS Backup notifications such as Amazon CloudWatch and Amazon EventBridge alarms, and AWS Support case updates. Moreover, you can set up multiple delivery channels, such as email, [AWS Chatbot](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chatbot/latest/adminguide/what-is.html) chat notifications, or [AWS Console Mobile App](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/consolemobileapp/latest/userguide/what-is-consolemobileapp.html) push notifications to receive your AWS Backup notifications.
This new feature is available in the following AWS Regions: US East (N Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (North California), US West (Oregon), Africa (Cape Town), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong), Asia Pacific (Hyderabad), Asia Pacific (Jakarta), Asia Pacific (Melbourne), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Osaka), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), Europe (London), Europe (Milan), Europe (Paris), Europe (Stockholm), Europe(Zurich), Middle East (Bahrain), Middle East (UAE), and South America (São Paulo).
