AWS Config supports recording exclusions by resource type

We are excited to announce that AWS Config now offers support for excluding resource types from configuration change tracking. This new feature allows you to exclude specific types of AWS resources from inventory tracking and compliance monitoring while still tracking all other supported resource types currently available in AWS Config, including those that will be added in the future. As a result, you can concentrate on critical resources that are subject to your organization's compliance and governance standards.
To get started, simply navigate to the recorder settings page in the AWS Config console, and select the 'Exclude Resource Types' option to specify the resource types to be excluded. Alternatively, you can utilize the [PutConfigurationRecorder](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/config/latest/APIReference/API%5FPutConfigurationRecorder.html) API to access this feature.
For more details, please refer to our [documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/config/latest/developerguide/select-resources.html). Learn more about AWS Config by visiting our [product page](https://aws.amazon.com/config/).
