Today, [AWS Glue](https://aws.amazon.com/glue/) announces that Amazon CodeWhisperer is available in AWS Glue Studio. You can use [Amazon CodeWhisperer](https://aws.amazon.com/codewhisperer/) with no additional charge to generate real-time code suggestions in AWS Glue Studio notebooks. CodeWhisperer can generate code suggestions ranging from snippets to full functions in real time based on your prompts and existing code.
With the CodeWhisperer integration, you will be able to quickly develop code to accelerate data preparation for analytics and machine learning. CodeWhisperer is optimized for the most-used AWS APIs, for example [AWS Lambda](https://aws.amazon.com/lambda/), or [Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3)](https://aws.amazon.com/s3/), making it a great coding companion for those building applications on AWS. While you write code in Python or simply type words in English within Glue Studio notebooks, CodeWhisperer provides you with recommendations in real time. Notebook users can quickly accept the top suggestion, view more suggestions, or continue writing their own code.
This new feature is now available in US East (N. Virginia) region.
