Today, we are excited to announce the general availability of Isabelle - new Belgian French Neural Text-to-Speech (NTTS) voice for Amazon Polly. [Amazon Polly](https://aws.amazon.com/polly/) is a service that turns text into lifelike speech, allowing you to create applications that talk and to build entirely new categories of speech-enabled products.
Isabelle is our first synthetic voice for French-speaking users in Belgium. We developed Isabelle using an advanced neural technology that makes it sound natural and human-like. Since Isabelle will be used in a multilingual environment, we also made sure that she can pronounce Flemish and English words correctly.
Isabelle and all the other NTTS voices are available in [AWS regions supporting Neural TTS](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/polly/latest/dg/NTTS-main.html#ntts-regions). For more details, please read the [Amazon Polly documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/polly/latest/dg/what-is.html) and visit our [pricing page](https://aws.amazon.com/polly/pricing/).
