AWS Transit Gateway is now available in the Israel (Tel Aviv) AWS Region with AWS Direct Connect. AWS Transit Gateway enables customers to connect thousands of Amazon Virtual Private Clouds (Amazon VPCs) and their on-premises networks using a single gateway. As you grow the number of workloads across multiple AWS accounts, you benefit from the ability to scale your networks, better control your policies, and effectively monitor your resources. With AWS Transit Gateway, you only have to create and manage a single connection from a central gateway to each Amazon VPC, on-premises data center, or remote office. AWS Transit Gateway acts as a hub where traffic is routed to all the connected networks, the spokes. The hub and spoke model significantly simplifies management and reduces operational costs because each network only has to connect to the AWS Transit Gateway. With routing policies on the Transit Gateway, you have centralized control over how your Amazon VPCs and on-premises networks connect to each other. This model simplifies how you scale and monitor your networks.
