[Amazon Translate](https://aws.amazon.com/translate/) is a neural machine translation service that delivers fast, high-quality, affordable, and customizable language translation. Today, we are enabling language detection for real time document translation. Customers can now automatically detect the source document's dominant language leveraging [Amazon Comprehend’s](https://aws.amazon.com/comprehend/) language detection API.
Synchronous document translation supports language pairs with English as either the source or the target language, and document sizes up to 100KB. To learn more, please read the Amazon Translate documentation on [synchronous document translation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/translate/latest/dg/sync.html).
