AWS Elemental MediaConvert is now available in both the Asia Pacific (Osaka) and Australia (Melbourne) regions, giving customers two additional options for configuring and submitting MediaConvert jobs using the console or API endpoints.
With AWS Elemental MediaConvert, audio and video content providers with any size library can easily and reliably transcode on-demand content for broadcast and multi-screen delivery. MediaConvert functions independently or as part of [AWS Media Services](https://aws.amazon.com/media-services/), a family of services that form the foundation of cloud-based workflows and offer the capabilities needed to transport, transcode, package, and deliver video.
