Amazon SageMaker Model Cards now supports cross account sharing of model cards

You can now use Amazon SageMaker Model Cards with [AWS Resource Access Manager](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ram/latest/userguide/what-is.html) (AWS RAM) to securely share model cards from your AWS account with a different AWS account, and also view, modify, and export (PDF) model cards shared with your account. Cross-account support of SageMaker Model Cards facilitates governance and collaboration by enabling you to view, track, and audit all available model cards within your organization in your centralized account.
A multi-account strategy allows data, project, and team isolation in machine learning model development and deployment. When model cards, that document critical information about the models, are distributed across multiple accounts in the organization, it becomes harder to collaborate or implement governance and compliance measures, such as viewing and auditing model cards. Now, with cross-account model cards sharing, you can enjoy the benefits of multi-account strategy while having accessibility into the available model cards in your organization, so you can accelerate collaboration in accordance with ML Governance requirements.
Amazon SageMaker Model Cards cross-account sharing is available in all Amazon Web Services regions where Amazon SageMaker and AWS RAM are currently available, except the GovCloud (US) regions.
To get started with cross-account model cards sharing, see [cross-account support for Amazon SageMaker Model Cards](http://docs.aws.amazon.com/sagemaker/latest/dg/model-cards-xaccount.html). Visit the Amazon SageMaker [developer guide](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sagemaker/latest/dg/model-cards.html) for information on SageMaker Model Cards, and [ML Governance](https://aws.amazon.com/sagemaker/ml-governance/) webpage to learn more about ML Governance with Amazon SageMaker.
