Using AWS Elemental MediaTailor you can now enable or disable non-linear overlay ads at a per-session level.
Overlay ads are a form of non-linear advertising that offer new revenue opportunities by displaying content around or on top of the video concurrently with the primary program. This new granular control of the feature allows you to enable them on a per-session basis. You can use the same MediaTailor configuration to serve overlay advertising across a range of devices with and without overlay ad support based on device capability.
Visit the [AWS global region table](https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/global-infrastructure/regional-product-services/) for a full list of AWS Regions where AWS Elemental MediaTailor is available.
For more information on how to use this new feature, please visit the MediaTailor [documentation page](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/mediatailor/latest/ug/what-is.html).
