Today we're thrilled to announce that Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) is expanding its email receiving capabilities to 7 new regions. This expansion provides businesses and developers who deal with a high volume of emails a robust solution for swift processing. As the email receiver, SES handles underlying mail-receiving operations, such as communication with other mail servers, scanning for spam and viruses, blocking mail from untrusted sources, and accepting mail for recipients in your domain.
Amazon SES is now giving businesses more flexibility and convenience with its expanded regional coverage. This expansion allows you to handle your incoming emails in a manner that's more effective and compliant with data residency regulations. The expanded service is available in the following regions: Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (London), Canada (Central), and US East (Ohio).
Amazon SES is renowned for its reliable, scalable, and cost-effective email platform for businesses. It efficiently handles outbound and inbound marketing, notifications, and transactional emails. With these additional regions, Amazon SES continues to increase its commitment to global availability, making its services more accessible to a diverse array of customers across the world.
