AWS Backup announces support for Amazon Aurora continuous backup

Today, AWS Backup announces support for Amazon Aurora continuous backup, allowing specific point-in-time restore within customers’ retention period of up to 35 days. AWS Backup is a fully managed service that centralizes and automates data protection across AWS services and hybrid workloads. With this launch, Aurora customers using AWS Backup can now meet their Recovery Point Objective (RPO) to a granularity of 1 second.
