[Amazon Chime SDK](https://aws.amazon.com/chime/chime-sdk/) lets developers add real-time audio and video to their web and mobile applications. Amazon Chime SDK meetings API endpoints used to create and manage meetings are now available in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Canada (Central), and Europe (London) regions. When creating meetings with the Amazon Chime SDK, developers call API endpoints to create, update, and delete meetings. The region selected for the API endpoint can impact the latency for API calls and helps control the location of meeting data, since the region is also where meeting events are received and processed. The new API endpoints work with existing media regions, giving developers more options when considering the best architecture for their requirements for the location of meeting data, latency, and high-availability.
