Starting today, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) M7gd and R7gd instances with up to 3.8 TB of local NVMe-based SSD block-level storage are available in Europe (Stockholm) and Europe (Spain) regions. Additionally, C7gd instances are now available in Europe (Stockholm). These Graviton3-based instances with DDR5 memory are built on the [AWS Nitro System](https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/nitro/) and are a great fit for applications that need access to high-speed, low latency local storage, including those that need temporary storage of data for scratch space, temporary files, and caches. They have up to 45% improved real-time NVMe storage performance than comparable Graviton2-based instances. Graviton3-based instances use up to 60% less energy for the same performance than comparable EC2 instances, enabling you to reduce your carbon footprint in the cloud. To learn more, see [Amazon C7gd instances](https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/instance-types/c7g/), [Amazon M7gd Instances](https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/instance-types/m7g/), and [Amazon R7gd Instances](https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/instance-types/r7g/).
