## Breaking **Exports of compliance reports will require new permissions** On or after March 15, 2024, a new Identity and Access Management (IAM) permission will be required to export a compliance report from the Google Cloud console. If you use [custom roles](https://cloud.google.com/iam/docs/roles-overview#custom) to control access to Google Cloud resources, you will need to add this new permission to your custom roles before that date to continue exporting compliance reports.
