Today, we are excited to announce the general availability of Burcu - new Turkish Neural Text-to-Speech (NTTS) female voice for Amazon Polly.
[Amazon Polly](https://aws.amazon.com/polly/) is a service that turns text into lifelike speech, allowing you to create applications that talk and to build entirely new categories of speech-enabled products.
Burcu is our first NTTS voice for Turkish customers. We developed this female-sounding voice using neural technology that makes it sound natural and human-like. Burcu is added to another Turkish voice Feliz that is already available for developing voice products. With this launch, we continue building a variety of voice and language options for Amazon Polly customers.
Burcu and all the other NTTS voices are available in [AWS regions supporting Neural TTS](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/polly/latest/dg/NTTS-main.html#ntts-regions). For more details, please read the [Amazon Polly documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/polly/latest/dg/what-is.html) and visit our [pricing page](https://aws.amazon.com/polly/pricing/).
