AWS Elastic Beanstalk now supports Windows Server 2022 based Elastic Beanstalk environments. Elastic Beanstalk Windows 2022 environments come with .NET Framework 4.8.1 and .NET Core 8.0 installed by default. Windows Server 2022 includes several enhancements to security and performance. You can create Elastic Beanstalk environment(s) running on .NET on Windows Server 2022 using any of the Elastic Beanstalk interfaces such as Elastic Beanstalk Console, Elastic Beanstalk CLI, Elastic Beanstalk API, and AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio. For more information about .NET on Windows Server platforms, see the [.NET on Elastic Beanstalk chapter](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/elasticbeanstalk/latest/dg/dotnet-getstarted.html) in the Elastic Beanstalk developer guide.
