AWS Systems Manager now supports instances running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) versions 8.9 and 9.3\. Systems Manager customers running these operating systems versions now have access to all AWS Systems Manager Node Management capabilities, including Fleet Manager, Compliance, Inventory, Hybrid Activations, Session Manager, Run Command, State Manager, Patch Manager, and Distributor. Patch Manager enables you to automatically patch instances with both security-related and other types of updates across your infrastructure for a variety of common operating systems, including Windows Server, Amazon Linux, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
