Amazon QuickSight launches cross sheet filters and controls

Amazon QuickSight now includes cross-sheet filters and controls. This enables authors to create and manage filters and controls across an entire analysis or dashboard.
For authors, cross-sheet filters streamline the process of setting up and managing filters. A single filter can now be extended to multiple sheets or the entire analysis or dashboard with just a few clicks. Any filter edits are applied across the specified scope. Authors can also swiftly add, modify, or remove filter controls for applicable sheets. Readers gain a seamless filtering experience across the dashboard. When cross-sheet filters are active, data selections persist as users navigate between sheets. In addition, readers can also create their own filters spanning the entire dashboard, streamlining data exploration (when adhoc filtering is enabled).
Cross-sheet controls and filters are now available in all supported Amazon QuickSight regions - US East (Ohio and N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland and London), South America (São Paulo) and AWS GovCloud (US-West). See [here](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/quicksight.html) for QuickSight regional endpoints.
