[Cloud Workstations base images](https://cloud.google.com/workstations/docs/preconfigured-base-images) are being upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04 from Ubuntu 20.04 this week. The last images built on Ubuntu 20.04 are tagged with `last-ubuntu2004` for building backwards compatible custom images.

Cloud Workstations base images now default to Python `3.10.12`
