Bring your own IP lets you [bring your own public IPv6 addresses](https://cloud.google.com/vpc/docs/bring-your-own-ip#comparison) to Google Cloud. IPv6 BYOIP addresses can be used with [external passthrough Network Load Balancers](https://cloud.google.com/load-balancing/docs/network/setting-up-network-backend-service#byoip-ipv6). Bring your own IP for IPv6 addresses is available in **General Availability**.
