## Change
You can now upgrade the network architecture of Cloud SQL for MySQL instances that store transaction logs used for point-in-time recovery (PITR) in Cloud Storage. The previous limitation on upgrade of such instances is removed. To check where your MySQL instance stores its PITR logs, see [Check the storage location of transaction logs used for PITR](https://cloud.google.com/sql/docs/mysql/backup-recovery/pitr#check-log-storage-location).
For more information about upgrading your network architecture, see [Upgrade an instance to the new network architecture](https://cloud.google.com/sql/docs/mysql/upgrade-cloud-sql-instance-new-network-architecture).
