## Announcement Cloud Functions has been renamed to Cloud Run functions. * Cloud Functions (1st gen) is now known as Cloud Run functions (1st gen). * Cloud Functions (2nd gen) is now known as Cloud Run functions. Learn more in the [blog post](https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/serverless/google-cloud-functions-is-now-cloud-run-functions). You can also deploy new functions, and modify existing functions that were created with the [Cloud Functions v2 API](https://cloud.google.com/functions/docs/apis) in [Cloud Run](https://cloud.google.com/run/docs/deploy-functions). This enables you to customize your function as you would a Cloud Run service.
