## Announcement
On, August 26, 2024, Apigee announced the GA launch of its non-VPC provisioning option.
## Feature
With the non-VPC peering provisioning approach, you are not required to provide networks and IP ranges during the Apigee provisioning process. Instead, you use Private Service Connect (PSC) for routing northbound traffic to Apigee and southbound traffic to target services running in your Google Cloud projects. Non-VPC peering is supported for command-line (CLI) steps only. You can perform non-VPC provisioning for [subscription](https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/api-platform/get-started/install-cli-non-peered), [Pay-as-you-go](https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/api-platform/get-started/install-cli-non-peered-paygo), and [evaluation](https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/api-platform/get-started/install-cli-non-peered-eval) installations of Apigee.
**Note:** The use of VPC Service Controls and Private DNS Peering is not supported. For a complete list of features and networking approaches that are and are not supported for non-VPC peering, see [How to choose a networking option](https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/api-platform/get-started/networking-options#how-to-choose-a-networking-option).
To learn more, see [Apigee networking options](https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/api-platform/get-started/networking-options).
