A new Cloud Composer release has started on September 2, 2024

## Announcement A new Cloud Composer release has started on **September 2, 2024**. Get ready for upcoming changes and features as we roll out the new release to all regions. This release is in progress at the moment. Listed changes and features might not be available in some regions yet. ## Feature Added a new metric: `composer.googleapis.com/workflow/task_instance/queued_duration`. This metric is based on the `dag.<dag_id>.<task_id>.queued_duration` [Airflow metric](https://airflow.apache.org/docs/apache-airflow/stable/administration-and-deployment/logging-monitoring/metrics.html). ## Fix Fixed an issue where an upgrade of a PSC-based private IP environment failed leaving the environment in an inconsistent state. ## Fix _(Cloud Composer 3)_ Fixed the cause of false-positive failures of Airflow Celery workers reported by the liveness health check. ## Change The `apache-airflow-providers-google` package was upgraded to version 10.22.0 in Cloud Composer 2 images and Cloud Composer 3 builds with Airflow 2.9.1\.
