Last August, we introduced [Azure App Testing](https://aka.ms/AzureAppTesting/announcement), a unified testing service that brings together two powerful testing capabilities—Azure Load Testing and Microsoft Playwright Testing—to help developers and QA teams run large-scale functional and performance testing.
Because Azure App Testing includes scalable, end-to-end web testing with identical execution capabilities, performance, and pricing that are identical to Microsoft Playwright Testing, we are retiring Microsoft Playwright Testing on March 8, 2026\.
After March 8, 2026, any remaining Microsoft Playwright Testing resources will stop working and will be permanently retired.
**Required Action**
To avoid service disruptions, we recommend migrating your existing Playwright workloads to Playwright Workspaces in Azure App Testing today. For guidance, please see the migration guide at <https://aka.ms/mpt/migration-guidance>.
**Help and support**
You can reach us directly at [playwrighttesting@microsoft.com](mailto:playwrighttesting@microsoft.com). If you have a support plan and need technical help, please create a support request in the Azure Portal.
