## Feature You can enable [alloydb.enable\_cache\_aware\_costing](https://cloud.google.com/alloydb/docs/reference/alloydb-flags#alloydb.enable%5Fcache%5Faware%5Fcosting) to turn on cache awareness for AlloyDB for PostgreSQL's query planner. This improves index scan query plans for query performance and reduces IO costs. This feature is in [Preview](https://cloud.google.com/products#product-launch-stages).
