The following updates simplify Security Command Center Standard and Premium tier activation for organizations:
* You need fewer [Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles](https://cloud.google.com/security-command-center/docs/activate-premium-tier#required-roles)to activate Security Command Center.
* A variety of [services](https://cloud.google.com/security-command-center/docs/activate-premium-tier#premium-services)are automatically enabled during activation. [Service-specific service agents](https://cloud.google.com/iam/docs/service-account-types#service-specific)are automatically enabled with the IAM roles and permissions that are required for these services to function.
See the following for detailed information about activating a specific tier:
* [Activate Security Command Center Standard tier for an organization](https://cloud.google.com/security-command-center/docs/activate-standard-tier)
* [Activate Security Command Center Premium tier for an organization](https://cloud.google.com/security-command-center/docs/activate-premium-tier)
