Azure Monitor now includes Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs), giving teams a clearer way to measure how customers actually experience their applications. Instead of relying only on infrastructure signals like CPU or isolated alerts, SLIs help determine whether an issue is truly affecting users. This shifts the focus from simply asking whether an app is up to understanding whether it is fast, reliable, and meeting expectations. With SLIs and SLOs, teams can cut through operational noise and answer the question that matters most: are we delivering on our customer promise?
