## Announcement Announcement Beginning November 1, 2026, Backup and DR Service will automatically apply a project-level lien to any project containing a backup vault with backups protected by enforced retention. To secure project liens against unauthorized removal and manage lien deletion securely, you can configure multi-party approval using Privileged Access Manager (PAM).
